At Diversified Building Concepts we pride ourselves on our ability to provide our clients with accoutrements to create the atmosphere and ambiance they desire for their patrons. These pictures of Sam Snead's Tavern in Jacksonville, Florida were taken while the restaurant was still under construction.

Working with the constraints of two large existing columns, we were still able to provide the client with a beautiful and functional back bar area.

This was our first Sam Snead's and as you can see, it reflects the outstanding quality in craftsmanship typical of DBC's millwork packages. This restaurant was built inside of the Jacksonville International Airport.

Almost every wall in this facility is covered with oak wainscoting and beadboard. Also, this area featured pine planked ceilings to match.

All flatstock and trim are provided by DBC.

Here you can see a beadboard sheathed low wall capped with oak chair rail, fluted columns and oak crown molding.

This wall separates a dining area from the bar area and has a POS station at each end.

These louvers were created by DBC especially for Sam Snead's Tavern to create a transition from the airport terminal to the entrance of the restaurant...

...and to create an "outdoor" atmosphere for the patio dining area.

Sam Snead's Restaurant & Tavern is a sports themed establishment that highlights the career and achievements of championship golfer Sam "Slammin' Sammy" Snead. Each restaurant features memorabilia displayed in these custom built trophy cases.

When completed, the new Sam Snead's Tavern at the Jacksonville International Airport will provide a delightful and comfortable refuge for travel-weary passengers.
